Kids’ Club Review by Harshit Kumar: Guinea dog

Guinea dog / Jennings, Patrick

I rated this book 5 stars because it is about a boy named Rufus in fifth grade who wants a dog. His best and worst friend has one. His neighbours had one too but his dad says no because he thought that it stinks, it brings fleas into the house and dad works from home so it will annoy him. One day, his mum buys him a guinea pig which he named Fido. They make a deal that it’s Rufus’s responsibility to take care of Fido. But one time Fido is found in his backpack at school so he tries to hide Fido from the kids but at recess she comes out and starts chasing Rufus which made a school recess parade that was funny.
