A great read by another wildlife photographer, Suzi Esterhas. This picture book, with accompanying photographs details the journey of a lion cub from birth to adulthood. You will see the cub chasing Mum’s tail in the den, meeting her father for the first time, taking naps and learning how to hunt. You will also learn many interesting facts about lions, for example a male lion can weigh up to 225 kilograms and  at two years old, a lion cub is fully grown.
Brown Bear by  Suzi Esterhas.
Another great read by another wildlife photographer, Suzi Esterhas. This picture book, with accompanying photographs details the journey of two bear cubs from birth to adulthood. You will get to see them exploring with their Mum, chasing and climbing and then learning how to catch fish and hunt for clams. You will also learn many interesting facts about bears, for example Brown bears are the second largest bears in the world after polar bears and at three years old, a bear cub is fully grown.

Warriors Omen of the Stars #6: The Last Hope by Erin Hunter

The dark forest is rising. The clans are dividing. Starclan is slipping from its grand place. The new prophecy looms. The three must become four. Jayfeather, Dovewing and Lionblaze must find the fourth cat before the great battle. Time is ticking away and the three don’t know which cat it is, or if it even is a cat. I recommend this book for ages 9+. 5 Stars.

Warriors: The Lost Warrior by Erin Hunter

This is an awesome manga. In the Warriors book Dawn, a beloved warrior, Greystripe, gets captured. This is his story of finding his way back home. The start of a three-part manga series, it really shows how much Greystripe means to Firestar and ThunderClan, and to StarClan. This is his story of a new life, new rivals, new friends… and a new love. 4 stars.

Have you ever wondered how Scourge became Scourge? How he became a blood-thirsty killer? Maybe it is the last thing you thought about. His life wasn’t always how it seems. Every cat gets to tell its story, and this is Scourge’s hour. This is an awesome manga! Erin Hunter has worked and thought hard on this book. It’s amazing! 5 stars.

Warriors: Omen of the Stars #4: Sign of the Moon by Erin Hunter

This is a very gripping book. It has all sorts of secrets packed inside, and unexpected surprises! Some cats from ThunderClan go back to visit the Tribe, where Brook and Stormfur have a happy future. Jayfeather finds something big, and an old friend dies. 5 stars. You rock  – Erin Hunter!!!

Warriors: Omen of the Stars #4: Sign of the Moon by Erin Hunter

This is the lastest book  in the awe-inspiring WARRIORS series. I love it so much – there is so much to find out! Jayfeather delivers a warning to the moutains; and Ivypaw and Dovepaw get their warrior names! Two cats explore the underground tunnels (the same ones Hollyleaf disappered in), and almost get lost with some misleading help from Fallen Leaves, but then a black cat arrives and leads them home. 5 stars! I love this book so much! You should read it – that is, if I give it back!

Warriors Super Edition: Bluestar’s Prophecy by Erin Hunter

This is a great book. I say it is the first of the fantastic Warriors series, but only if you are not counting the super-editions. Bluestar’s prophecy is mostly about cats. If you love cats, this is the book/series for you! There are four Clans in the forest, or five if you include StarClan, or even six with SkyClan.(Not revealing any spoilers!) The clans are: ShadowClan, who thrive in the dark pine forests, RiverClan, who explore their watery home, ThunderClan,(main clan) who consult in their lush forests, and WindClan who rule the moorland! 4 stars.

This book is AWESOME! It has some juicy secrets. Do you like Hollyleaf? Well, Lionblaze and Firestar looked in the tunnels she disappeared in, trying to find her body, but all they found was a tuft of fur. Later, a dark shape moved in front of a curious cat – could it be? But in the tunnels it could be anything…  5 stars.

Warriors Book #1: Into the Wild by Erin Hunter

I love this book. It is the first of the fantastic Warriors series. Rusty is a kittypet. He has strange dreams about going into the forest at the edge of his owner’s property. He meets Greypaw first, then Bluestar, leader of ThunderClan. He joins the clan, and you should read what goes next. 5 stars.
