Big name favourites are at the top of the list this month!

The lovable fat cat Garfield has been around since 1978! Think you know your Garfield? Did you know that this food obsessed cat has his own TV award? That’s right in 1985 his show bagged an Emmy! Take a look and see!

Our other top cat comic is receiving the 3D treatment, with a spruced up anime version showing in Japan from early next month.

Amulet, by Kazu kibuishi

Amulet is a great series. About a girl, her brother and her mum. The girls name is Emily Hayes, She inherits a strange necklace from he grandfather. She and her family get sucked into another world and can’t seem to find a way back. Throughout the series they make friends, And enemys. I can’t tell you any more because i might spoil the story but i wish i could.

Top 10 Children’s comics October 2015

Charlie Brown and the gang have topped the charts. A winning combination of great characters and cool dialogue this classic comic strip remains a favourite.

Kids’ Club Review by Jessica Davis: Maximum Ride : the manga

Maximum Ride : the mangaMaximum Ride : the manga, by NaRae Lee

Maximum ride is a thriller book. It’s great for a long as it took me three weeks to read the chapter book and four days to read the comic. I would recommend this book for people who like thriller, fantasy and action. I love this book and I hope you read it as well because a lot of it is unsuspecting.
