Cook’s cook : the cook who cooked for Captain Cook / Gavin Bishop.
It was happy but it was sad when not that many people survived. I was surprised that it was a bit longer than I thought it was going to be.

The nature of Ash, Mandy Hager
This book is about a boy who’s Dad dies and he has to go home from university. I found this book hard to read as it is probably suited for older children. My older sister loved it and she is 12. I think children 12 plus would enjoy this book.

A tangle of knots, Lisa Graff
This is a complicated book as it is told by different characters in it and it is a puzzle. Its about a magical world where everyone has a talent. Cady’s talent is cake baking. Cady is an orphan and goes on a mysterious journey to a mysterious house. The house holds important clues to her past. I really liked this book as it was well written and you wanted to find out what happens in the end.
