It was lovely to see so many BookBusters at our October school holiday meeting!
This month, we looked at how to find the BookBuster and Kids Blog pages on our website. It was great to see some photos of us all and find our reviews from last month!
We started the meeting with a storytime session. Anna read Watch me throw the ball by Mo Willems and Rats by Gavin Bishop; as well as a short excerpt from Charlotte’s Web. Rowan read The Big Baby by Anthony Browne.
We had some really good book reviews this month. Jonathan loved the book Hot Rod Hamster by Cynthia Lord. Sophia enjoyed Margaret Mayo’s The Fiery Phoenix and The Lemon Princess. We also talked about one of our favourite Roald Dahl books- Matilda.
Anna finished up the meeting by making us laugh with another Mo Willems book- I am invited to a party.
