Karori BookBusters October Reviews

Shivani reviewed The Magic Finger by Roald Dahl.  It is about a girl who has a magic finger and she uses it on a lot of people – like her teacher who was turned into a cat and Mr and Mrs Gregg get wings!  While they are flying, some ducks get into their houses but then the couples’ wings vanish and it all goes back to normal.  9.5/10

Olivia reviewed The Queen Elizabeth Family from The Family Collection by Enid Blyton.  Mike, Belinda and Ann come home from school one weekend to find their father home early.  He asks them if they would like to have dinner on the Queen Elizabeth ship.  They all really enjoy dinner there.  Soon the children are allowed to sail to America on the ship.  I like how Enid Blyton describes what it is like to be on a big ship.  10/10
