Karori had a great, fun filled Bookbusters meeting last Tuesday. We talked about animal books and stories. We shared a story featured in the Dominion Post about the annual Animates Kaiwharawhara Pets Fashion Parade, leading to a discussion where the we talked about our pets.
We also read a book called Rhinehold the Mouse by the Wellington author, Diane Batchelor, about a little mouse’s daring adventures in his search for food. It is told in rhyme, with very lively illustrations. It proved to be a great story enjoyed by all of us.
