A Really Short (and Cool) History of Nearly Everything!

Have you read A Really Short History of Nearly Everything, by Bill Bryson? Bill was feeling curious one day about how scientists made discoveries and invented things – so he decided to find out! First he wrote this as a book for adults, and it was so successful he decided to turn it into a big book for kids. It has loads of pictures and facts, and he is really funny too. My favourite parts were the chapters about the stars and the Big Bang. I love space!

I learned heaps of cool stuff, for example, did you know that our Earth is over 4.5 BILLION years old, and that the Moon was formed when an asteroid the size of Mars hit the Earth?! Whoa! How did they ever figure that out? The answers are in this book!
