Hayao Miyazaki

Let’s talk Miyazaki!  Hayao Miyazaki is a Japanese filmmaker who makes anime films.  Most of his movies are for children and they are often about witches, wizards and magical creatures.  His most recent film was Howl’s Moving Castle,  based on the book by Diana Wynne Jones.

Now his son Goro Miyazaki has made a film!  Tales From Earthsea screened at the Film Festival last month and is based on the stories of Ursula LeGuin, about wizards and dragons.  If you like magic, you’ll love the films of the Miyazaki family!

I like all his films and hope to be able to draw and have an imagination as good as him. I hope that i could meet him one day and talk about what his insperations were for each movie. I would also like to ask if he has heard of a anime cartoon called ‘Naruto Shippuuden’ so that i could ask him to make a movie like that.

I love Hayao’s Movies, they’re alot of fun. I’ve watched some of them. I want to be like him and I’d like to talk to him too. I wanna know if he’s heard of “Tsubasa” because if he has, I’d like him to make a movie like that. It’d be very cool
