Fantasy was the theme for our Johnsonville Bookseekers this month and we also celebrated our mid-year party with plenty of food, gifts and book reviews.
We had a great fantasy cloze to work out. A cloze is like a story with lots of the words missing out and you have to work out what they are. We did one on witches and wizards and one on Knights. We also had a go at making our own spells. Here is one we made up.
Spell to make you super happy:
-Take 4 funny bones
-Add 3 white feathers and stir once
-Boil for 10 minutes then add some monkey pooh and stir 7 times.
-Then say “happy, happy, laugh out loud’
