Funding & Community
Information is right at your fingertips through the following sites:
Funding Information Service
This site provides direct access to Fundview (information about funding for community groups), and Breakout (awards, scholarships and grants available to New Zealand individuals for personal development).
Both these databases are now available for use remotely as well as in our libraries: all you need is your library card.
Wellington Community Directory
This Wellington City Council site is a comprehensive guide to groups and organisations in Wellington. You can browse under categories such as Accommodation, Childcare, Recreation, or Youth, or use keywords to search all the listings. Information about the groups and contact details are provided.
Wellington Community Network
WCN is an electronic community network that provides website hosting, training and support to community groups and not-for-profit organisations in the Wellington region. WCN currently hosts over 450 websites of clubs, churches, schools, civic advocacy, health and other community groups. You can contact WCN about hosting your own website.
