Kanopy and Libby outage

We are aware of issues logging in to both Kanopy and Libby. We are working with our vendor to have both services restored. Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates.

School Holiday Programmes

Our libraries offer a variety of events and activities for tamariki and rangatahi during the school holidays. Find out what's on at your library these holidays!

A young child is stroking the neck of a llama as other children look on. The llama is wearing a lead that is being held at the other end by a librarian wearing a jumper decorated with prancing llamas.

Every school holidays we put together a programme of fun and free events and activities for tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau.

Our programme of events for the upcoming June/July school holidays is all about celebrating Matariki and Puanga at this special time of year. We've planned some special storytimes, LEGO®-building and seed-sowing sessions, along with a few other special offerings!

As well with our many Matariki me Puanga themed events, we're also very excited to be running events with a selection of authors and performers, including the phenomenal Suzy Cato, author Erin Willson, and a local youth improv theatre group.

We haven't announced our schedule of events yet, but keep checking back here and on our event calendar - it's coming soon!
