The End of the Spider-Verse
In The End of the Spider-Verse, the wasp-goddess Shathra takes over the Spider-Verse, and its up to a new team of Spider-Heroes to stop her. New Spiders introduced here include a Disney-inspired Spider-princess named Spinstress, a queer teenager with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome named Sun-Spider, and the Spider-Rex, a web-slinging dinosaur who was hit by a spider-meteor.

Who’s Who in Across the Spider-Verse?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse sees Miles Morales being recruited into the Spider Society, an interdimensional team of Spiders who help fix the broken multiverse, alongside Spider-Gwen and Peter B. Parker. Here are just some of the Spiders who debut in the new film:

In the cyberpunk future of the year 2099, geneticist Miguel O’Hara has his DNA spliced with that of a spider and gains its powers. Aided by his AI companion Lyla, Miguel uses his new abilities to battle the evil Alchemax corporation as the Spider-Man of 2099.

There have been several Spider-Women over the years, but the first to bear the name was Jessica Drew, who gained her powers from a spider-blood serum made by her geneticist father. The ‘Gamerverse’ Spider-Man is the Peter Parker from the 2018 Spider-Man game. He made his comic debut during Spider-Geddon, and later received his own series.

During the Dying Wish storyline, an expiring Otto Octavius (Doctor Octopus) swapped his mind with Spider-Man in order to prolong his life. When Peter’s mind seemingly died in Otto’s body, Doc Ock was inspired not only to take up Spider-Man’s mantle, but become a better Spider-Man than Peter ever was… a Superior Spider-Man.

Scientist Johnathan Ohnn gained the power to generate spot-shaped portals and set off on a life of crime as ‘The Spot’, with the advantage that his portals don’t trigger Spider-Man’s precognitive ‘Spider-Sense’. While powerful in his own right, Ohnn is not the smartest crook, and his powers are often exploited by other villains, including MODOK, the Kingpin, the Prowler, Carnage, and the Daredevil villain Coyote.
