Warriors: Power of Three: Book #5: Long Shadows by Erin Hunter

This is the fifth book in the third series of Warriors. Lionblaze, Jayfeather and Hollyleaf are the grandchildren of the great leader of ThunderClan: Firestar. They are prophecied to have powers greater than even StarClan.

But a mysterious stranger by the name of Sol is creating discord in the Clans. He told of the day when the sun was swallowed – and it had come. Now he is whispering promises into the ears of the Three…

But there is trouble stirring in ThunderClan, too. A secret that every cat tries to hide from resurfaces. A heartbroken cat takes his stand, and a fire is sparking in the forest.

This book, and Sunrise, is what the whole Power of Three series has built up to. It’s a fantastic read, and leaves a cliff-hanger at the end, which makes you gnash your teeth while you wait for Sunrise to arrive on the Reserves shelf.

Personally, this is one of my favourite Warriors books. I wouldn’t recommend reading it unless you have read at least The New Prophecy series, and ALL of Power of Three. 5 stars.

Omen of the Stars: Book #2 in the Fading Echoes Warriors series by Erin Hunter

This has to be my favourite book so far of the Warriors Series. Dovepaw has been found to be the third cat of the prophecy. She can hear, see and scent things far away. She has started to hone her abilities. Meanwhile, one cat walks in another’s dreams, whispering tales of envy and power…

5 stars
