Kids’ Club Review by Ran: Dog Man

Dog ManDog Man, written and illustrated by Dav Pilkey, as George Beard and Harold Hutchins

There was a police dog and a police officer who got hurt in an accident, The dog’s body and the officer’s head were dying. So the doctors had an excellent idea and sewed the dog’s head onto the officer’s body. I was laughing throughout the book. I liked the action and the silliness of the plot.

Kids’ Club Review by Ran: The worst book ever

The worst book everThe worst book ever, Elise Gravel

The story was written only on the left pages of the book. There were three little characters on the right pages throughout the book – a dust bunny, a spider, and a blobbish thing. The story was set in a countryside with a castle. It’s funny and also a bit silly. There was a monster who tried to attack a princess but ended up having an argument with her instead. Then the prince came along and started a fight with the monster and won. The prince got knighted for defeating the monster. At the end of the story, the prince and princess woke up and realised that it was all a dream.

Kids’ Club Review by Grace: The only friend

The only friendThe only friend, by Kim Kane & Jon Davis

This book was about Ginger and having two friends over for a playdate. One of the girls was bossy and the other one was nice. Ginger and the nice girl played dolls together and the bossy one read her book. I liked this book because it was exciting.
