Children’s Day is all about treasuring the children in our life. This means supporting parents and encouraging positive family time.

This year Children’s Day falls on Sunday 3rd March.  The theme is ‘Treasure our Children.” So join in the fun and do something special for the small people in your life.

Events happening in Wellington on the day include Treasure Our Children Beach Day at Lyall Bay Beach and Reach for the Stars at Carter Observatory.

Its your day – Children’s Day!

Childrens Day Image 2011Celebrate your day – Children’s Day: March 6th 2011, Wellington Civic Square and Central Library, 11 am – 3 pm

Special story reading and face painting is happening in the Central Library from 1.45 pm – 3 pm. Fun and free and no need to book – bring the whole family!

 

There will be loads of fun activities happening in Civic Square 11 – 2 pm- a special visit from the WotWots, a children’s Zumbatomic Zumba class, a special performance of one of Capital E’s upcoming festival shows, face painting, the Balloon Man, story-telling, art activities, sausage sizzle and lots more to be announced.

So get down to the city on Sunday for some fun!
