Free School Holiday Activities at Karori Library

Can you make the tallest tower in the world?  Get creative these school holidays at Karori Library.

We’re having a fun make-a-thon on Tuesday 6th October, 10-11am using lots of different materials from Lego, playing cards to paper.  You’ll get a chance to design and create a tower using unique materials and a whole lot of imagination!  This holiday activity is ideal for 6-12 year olds.  We can’t wait to see you there.

Are you a D.I.Y Kid?

If you are in to making stuff then check out D.I.Y for Kids. You can bind your own books, make your own clothes, make stickers, logos, clothespin dolls, box building, graffiti furniture and heaps of other cool stuff. There are step by step instructions and photographs of designs that kids have made themselves. A great book for filling in all that spare time.
