Flicks @ Six at Tawa Library

FilmsCome along to Tawa Library for a free night at the movies.

Happening on the third Thursday of the month our next movie will be on Thursday 19th October at 6pm.

We have a special Halloween themed movie night for October. This film tells a story of count Dracula, the owner of a hotel where the world’s monsters can take a rest from human civilization. Dracula invites some of the most famous monsters to celebrate the 118th birthday of his daughter Mavis. When the “human-free hotel” is unexpectedly visited by an ordinary human traveller named Jonathan, Dracula must protect Mavis from falling in love with him before the hotel’s guests learn that there is a human in the castle. Although it is Halloween themed, the film only has a few mildly scary scenes and is suitable for most children. We recommend parents watch with small children. This film is rated PG and runs for 88 minutes.

Not sure what film we’re talking about? You can call the library or talk to a librarian to find out what is playing each month.

Bring your own cushion for a comfy night in. Movies will play in the Children’s section of the library.
