So we thought this Click, make, build and create looked like fun. Went to Newlands Community Centre at 2 pm today just like it says in the email and it wasn’t on. I can’t begin to tell you the disappointment of the 8 year old. This is very very disappointing and I would like to know what you are doing to ensure this doesn’t happen again. About 5 groups of children turned up for this event.

    Hi Coralie,
Yes, this is our mistake. Newlands was running a holiday activity today, but we neglected to update the information to say that bookings are required for those activities run in Community Centres (bookings aren’t required for the library-run activities and this booking information was incorrectly included with the Newlands event). Big apologies for this; we’re sorry you and the children were disappointed. There are still a few holiday activities running in the Libraries this week if you would like to attend those. The Star Wars-themed one at the Central Library looks like a goodie! Have a look at the Wellington City Libraries’ facebook page for details on these holiday activities.
Thanks for the feedback – we’ll do better next time.
