Deep in the underworld lies the kingdom of Nebula. Although it is always everlasting night there, Nebula is never dark because all of its people, buildings, and creatures glow with an inner light source. In the outerworld lives a boy named Walker who has no friends and only gets noticed when someone teases him about the strange star-shaped birthmark on his cheek.
Walkers world is turned upside down when two people come searching in the outerworld for the chosen one. The one who bears the mark that indicates he’s worthy to hold the most sacred secrets of Nebula’s people and become their leader. The chosen one must come and help save Nebula from destruction by the deadly Warriors of the Black Shroud who are destroying every outpost with their evil and black despair.
