To celebrate Matariki we started our book club with tracing our hands and labelling the parts in Maori. Then we read the story Tane and the stars. Hayden got his 12th month certificate while Hemank got his 6th month certificate. We got all tangled up trying out Maori string games but we eventually figured it out. We all had a go at doing Zines and tried a cool way of folding up paper to create a small Zines booklet. We all sat down again to do book reviews and lastly we chose books to take home from the new booklist.
