Johnsonville BookBusters had a treat when Nadia from Deaf Aoetaroa New Zealand came over to teach us basic sign language and a game of Hangman. It was lots of fun when we did the Hangman game because we had to use sign language for the letters. Debbie read The Very Hungry Caterpillar while Nadia signed. We had two new BookBusters, Chris and Ben and they’re twins. Hannah got her 6th month certificate. All in all it was a quiet but fun meeting because BookBuster hands were busy signing away.
