We had a fun-filled meeting this month. We started with a funny story called Queen Victoria’s Underpants which Chief Candy read to us and then we shared our own book reviews. Karori kids have been reading heaps of cool books this month – great job everyone! After our reviews we played a game of Guess-the-Book-Charades.
When it came time to choose our books, there was a twist. They had been wrapped up so that the covers were hidden and we were only told a little bit about them. This was to help us learn not to judge a book by it’s cover and it was a surprise to see what book we had chosen. Our meeting ended on a high note with two of our BookBusters receiving certificates for attending 6 meetings – well done.
