I’ve been reading a few articles which discuss the personal attributes the new “worker” will need in the coming years and the following come up again and again. I’ve chosen to highlight a few Lynda.com courses freely available with your Wellington City Libraries’ card.

Needing to upgrade your IT skills for the post-covid world?

Our Lynda.com resource has fantastic resources to help you. This post introduces you to a range of videos on cloud computing including Cloud Architecture and Cloud Administration.

Cloud computing careers and certifications: First steps Thinking about a career in cloud computing, but don’t know where to begin? Careers in Cloud Computing: IT Pro to Microsoft Cloud Pro   This intermediate level course (1 hr 45 mins) is very relevant today as more and more businesses adopt cloud-based technologies.  Moving to cloud-based systems requires a new approach to IT management including a whole new suite of tools and skills.  This course equips IT professionals to shift their careers and embrace cloud technology, and focusses mainly on Microsoft cloud services.  However additional platforms such as Amazon Web Services is also covered.

Build your knowledge of Cloud Administration This valuable learning path (20 hours)  contains a series of videos which will enable you to have a good grasp of cloud principles and services including AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform .  It also gives you a chance to practice what you have learned and to certify your achievement.  Te The module consists of 9 courses.
