Who are you? Tell us a bit about your music:
WitchBlade. We play ‘Witch Rock’ a heavy sexy groove.

What have you been working on lately? Any new tracks or albums on the way?
Recorded a quick DIY demo earlier in the year, are looking at starting work on some proper recording very soon. Writing and gigging at the moment.

What were the 3 most influential albums to you growing up?
Too many to narrow it down like that.

Which other Wellington musician (s) would you most like to work with?
Beastwars, & The All Seeing Hand.

What’s your favourite Wellington venue to play in?
Haven’t played there yet, but would love to play at Meow.

In your songwriting or composing (or the band’s songwriting) how do the compositions and songs take shape?
Abby does most of the song writing often bringing her work to the others to contribute their parts, though in the past we have come up with songs together whilst jamming. Sarah has also brought a song she wrote to the band.

Where/when is your next gig?
28th September at Caroline, with Swallow the Rat.
