We regularly inspect Bandcamp, local music websites, trawl music vendors latest releases and check out independent labels like Flying Nun, Arch Hill, Rattle and Lil’ Chief for the latest in Wellington and New Zealand music. Alex Holden is a singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist. ‘Songs from the Carpark’ is a full band album in an old school rock n’ roll mode, complete with tracks featuring horns, flute, and violin. Influences from UK & US classic rock groups abound. Check it out here.
