Although this is a general resource guide to the wedding ceremony, it's been referenced in this section because of the music lists which set it apart from other similar guides. The lists cover every stage of the day in both traditional and contemporary styles, and include dance music suggestions to get every up and mingling. Usual templates for traditional toasts, and readings (suitalbe for both religious and civil ceremonies) found elsewhere are helpfully presented.

But packed with readings both classic and not so classic readings so that there is bound to be something here for everyone. Also comes with helpful advice on choosing the right words - with both poetry and prose selections. The library also has Heart songs : readings for weddings / collected by Pinky Agnew, which is another excellent anthology compiled by a New Zealander. If you are seeking a particular poet, poetry collections are likely to be at 821 under the poet's surname - for example Jenny Bornholdt collections are classified at 821 BOR. |
