Win a Hewlett Packard 2140 Mini Note!

Online databases give you the same information that you find in journals, magazines and reference books such as encyclopedias, but with the convenience of being able to use them wherever you have internet access. Much of the information contained in databases can't be found readily through the internet but you can use them quickly and easily via Wellington City Libraries website - you just need your library card to enter and search.

Answer the two questions below and you will also go into the draw to win a Hewlett Packard 2140 Mini Note!

Conditions of entry:

  • You must be a current member of Wellington City Libraries
  • Wellington City Council staff members and their immediate families are not permitted to enter
  • Hewlett Packard New Zealand staff members and their immediate families are not permitted to enter
  • Only one entry from each library card holder will be entered in the draw
  • Acceptance of prizes gives permission to Wellington City Libraries to display and/or publish names of winners.
  • The judges' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

    1. On the mygateway.info homepage, click on the Newspapers link in the orange box
    2. Under the description of the PressDisplay database, click on Start Search
    3. Enter your library card number and last name and click on Enter Database to reach the PressDisplay homepage

    (There are hundreds of newspaper titles available in PressDisplay you can explore later - click on the blue 'Select Title' box at the top of the screen)
