Produced by the Central Intelligence Agency of the US government, this site provides data on every country's geography, people, government, economy, communications, military etc. In each instance a basic map and image of the flag, with description, are also available.

Designed specifically for public libraries, this huge database provides full text for nearly 1,950 general periodicals covering a range of subjects including countries of the world, travel and much more. In addition to the full text, it provides indexing and abstracts for nearly 2,600 other titles. This database also features: 5,000 full text Magill Book Reviews, 316 reference and travel books including the World Almanac & Book of Facts 2001; full text from 88,000 biographies, 83,500 full text primary source documents, and an image collection of 107,000 photos, maps and flags.
