No Safe Harbour
by David Hill
I'm putting this in for my brother. He thinks it's a great book (I agree with him) about 2 children who go on the Wahine and survive its last moments at sea. It's sad to think what they would have gone through those who were on the ship, but this story makes it feel like you are a part of the ship just like all the characters in No Safe Harbour. I think you should read it. It's an awesome, but sad and adventrous book. I recommend it to kids around 9 to 11. Read it and enjoy it! =] 4 stars.

Matilda has very nasty parents. I would give it five stars because it is really funny. Matilda is only three years old but has a big brain. She decided that whenever her parents were mean to her she would be mean to them. Every Saturday her Mum would go to bingo, her Dad would go to work, and her brother would go to school. While everybody was out she went to the library for two hours. The biggest prank was the parrot up the chimney! 5 stars.
