Genesis, Bernard Beckett’s multi award winning book, has won another prize, this time the young adult section of the 2010 Prix Sorcières, a French literary award. Genesis has done super well since it was published in 2006, and was published in the United States last year and was one of Amazon’s best books of the month last April (although they don’t get the edition with the cool orang on the cover).
So, if you read Genesis then you can cross off “New Zealand author” and “award winning book” from your reading list for school maybe?
