book coverBrisingr, the third instalment in the Inheritance cycle by Christopher Paolini, had a good birthday, selling over 45,000 copies on its first day in the UK (and 550,000 in the United States), making it the best selling children’s title in the UK this year (it seems the Brits are a bit more dubious about the whole vampire thing than the Americans). Readers will be hoping that Mr Paolini is making good progress on the 4th book and won’t keep them hanging around waiting too long…
