Night’s Child : Wicca 15
Cate Tiernan
318 pages
Theme:
I feel that it’s kind of supernatural, fantasy, horror, and a bit of romance mixed together. This is the same for the other books in the Wicca series – I have read them all.

Recommend?: Once you start reading the book, you won’t want to put the book down. Because you would be caught with the same emotions as Moira as she finds out about her mother’s past and what it means for her. It is the same for Morgan (the other main character) who has to rescue her missing soul-mate of 16 years thanks to her half-sister.

Favourite Character: : One of my favourite characters in this book would have to be Moira because she feels like she has to find out her mother’s past and what she finds out really disturbs her to the point where she actually runs out of the house. Some of these facts include her dead grandfather being one of the most incredibly evil witches of all time in Wiccan history; finds out that her father, who had died six months ago, wasn’t either her father or her mother’s soul-mate; her mother has 3 half siblings and so forth.

My other favourite character would be Morgan. In the book she shows slightly more emotions than Moira and all the other books that Morgan is in. For example she is afraid of what Moira might find out about her past, relieved that her soul-mate was alive after sixteen years of her thinking that he was dead. She also does bigger missions now that she is much older and wiser. For example, she goes to rescue her loved one from the nether-world but nearly gets killed by her half-sister Iona.

Favourite Scene: My favourite scene would have to be when Moira, Morgan, and Sky all go to the nether-world to rescue Hunter Niall (Morgan’s soul-mate, Moira’s birth father, and Sky’s cousin), only to find that they have to fight/battle Morgan’s half sister Iona.

Score: 5 stars
