Passionate about saving the planet? You can make a difference! Why not take part in the Sir Peter Blake Youth Environment Forum 2008 and Earth Hour 2008?

The Sir Peter Blake Youth Environment Forum 2008 will be held in Wellington 27 April-1 May. Three delegates will be chosen from the Wellington region to spend a week with other youth from around New Zealand. Together you will participate in community projects, voice your opinion on environmental matters and get firsthand experience in environment management. Applications close 20 March. Don’t miss out, download your form now!

And here’s a convenient truth - you can make a difference to global warming! From 8pm-9pm, Saturday 29 March, join millions of people as they switch off lights and other appliances to reduce energy consumption in Earth Hour 2008. Check out the Earth Hour websites (NZ or global) for more details.
