The return of the king : being the third part of The lord of the rings, by J. R. R. Tolkien (ADULT FICTION)
The Lord of the Rings is about a hobbit named Frodo and a few brave friends who go on a quest to destroy the one ring in the Cracks of Doom. (The one ring is a ring of power which the dark lord Sauron wishes to use to conquer Middle Earth). In this book the fellowship of the ring has separated even further. Frodo has been taken captive by the Orcs and Sam is trying to rescue him. Aragon, Legolas and Gimli, fresh from the desperate battle of Helms Deep, take part in the battle of the Black Gate. Merry and Pippin are recovering after taking Isengard from Saraman with the help of the Ents. Will the fellowship of the ring manage to destroy the one ring in Mt Doom and defeat the dark lord Sauron or will the dark lord have complete dominion over Middle Earth? This is a great read. I just had to keep on reading it to the end, it was a thrilling story. This is the final installment in The Lord Of the Rings trilogy and in my opinion the best book in The Lord Of the Rings.
