The stolen stars of Matariki, written byMiriama Kamo ; illustrated by Zak Waipara
I liked this story because it has a happy ending.
This story is about two children going and seeing stars. The next night there are only seven Matariki stars instead of nine. The children get the stars back in the sky and take their eels home from fishing.
I would recommend this book to children who are six and seven years old.
