Introducing Lucy Longstocking

Lucy Longstocking

Her father dropped Lucy off in the children’s section on Saturday, and had gone to check out the latest in Science Fiction when he disappeared.

Lucy didn’t fret, she knew the library was warm and dry, and anyway, she’d seen where we kept our biscuits. We only discovered her at morning tea-time on Monday, when we opened the cupboard, to find that Lucy had spent the entire weekend reading our Pippi Longstocking books and eating our biscuits (though never the two things together, because Lucy would never leave crumbs in a book.)

Lucy has kept us so entertained with her tales of what she’s been reading, and she has promised that as long as we let her live in our biscuit cupboard, she will tell you all about her favourite books too.

So keep your eye out for news and reviews from Lucy Longstocking.

Biscuits? Are you British? Over here we call ’em cookies. For a minute I thought you were eating dog biscuits. But nobody does that except my little brothers. They’ll eat anything.
