On the March 30th, at the Smithsonian National Zoo in the United States, a North Island Brown Kiwi hatched!
You can see him or her (they don’t know yet if it’s a female or a male) by visiting this kiwicam

this was so cool i’m so into kiwis they are my favourite animal they are just the best and i’m so glad that only new zealand has them.
