The future of manufacturing: opportunities to drive economic growth has been produced by the World Economic Forum in conjunction with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

The report was released in April 2012 and is over 70 pages, divided into three sections: The globalization of manufacturing (drivers of change), the new calculus of manufacturing (recent trends) and Future Competition: Resources, Capabilities and Public Policy which looks at examines the “key areas where both countries and companies will face the most intense competition in the future”
