Keep in touch with correct contact details

chalk board question what's your number? Please help us stay in touch by ensuring your telephone, email and address details are up to date and correct. Either complete your details online, or call 04 801-4089 (between 9am-5pm Mon-Fri) to check your details, or talk with a library staff member the next time you are in the library. Remember to check all the library cards in your family.

Occasionally we have important news to share with all customers and we want to make sure you get these messages. For example, early in 2019 we will be changing the way that customers access your library card (to renew or reserve), and login to online services (such as eLibrary resources such as PressReader, or Lynda.com) to be in step with other modern libraries.

This May is Membership Month

Wellington BusinessDo your friends, relatives or colleagues work in Wellington and live in Greater Wellington?

Do you ever boast about the amazing resources and services you find at Wellington City Libraries?

This month, Wellington City Libraries would like to encourage you to recommend your friends, relatives and colleagues join our libraries to start enjoying the great resources we offer on our shelves and online.

To thank you, we are giving you 5 free reserves for each Wellington Worker new member you recommend to us.

To qualify, print out the form below and give it to your friends, relatives or colleagues to bring to us when they come to the library to start their membership. You will then be granted 5 free reserves which will be recorded on your card details (normally $2.00 each).

There is no limit to how many people you can recommend to join. When you collect your free reserve, please speak to our staff at the issues desk.

So make the most of May and collect as many reserves as you can. You can use them anytime in the future.

Welcoming Christchurch library patrons

Have you relocated from Christchurch to Wellington? Are you keen to continue your use of libraries? From today, Christchurch City Libraries card holders are eligible for temporary Wellington City Libraries cards for up to 6 months membership.

We are also collecting library books that need to be relocated back to Christchurch, so if you have any items with you that you need to return to a Christchurch City Libraries branch, you’re welcome to bring these into any Wellington City Libraries branch and we will ensure that they’re returned to Christchurch City Libraries when the library is ready to receive them.

If you have Wellington City Libraries items in Christchurch, please contact either Nicky on 801 4055 or Elizabeth on 801 4058 for advice.
