Law for Lunch – The New Family Court: Help yourself and your whānau

This week’s Law for Lunch talk offers information on Family Law and how to resolve difficult family issues. It is presented by Jennifer Wademan, a staff solicitor at Thomas Dewar Sziranyi Letts.

Law for Lunch logoJennifer Wademan has been a staff solicitor in the family law team at Thomas Dewar Sziranyi Letts since 2011. She has previous experience as a Judge’s Clerk to the Principal Family Court Judge and as Senior Policy Analyst at the Ministry of Social Development.

Jennifer’s presentation will be focussing on

  • Changes to the Family Court process
  • Child’s welfare and best interests
  • Legal Aid and Counselling
  • Application for a parenting order and more
