Wellington City Libraries in partnership with Community Law Wellington and Hutt Valley are continuing our popular Law for Lunch series every Wednesday this March and the first week of April.
Wellingtonians are invited to come along to free weekly lunchtime talks, with guest speakers on a range of popular law topics.
The program of seminars for March – April 2014 will include the following:
Wed, 5 March at the Central Library
Caring for the Carers: What the new Family Carers Policy means for families caring for disabled relatives
Wed, 12 March at the Central Library
All Consuming: Your consumer rights and recent consumer law changes
Wed, 19 March at the Central Library
Home Insurance: How to ensure your house is protected
Wed, 26 March at the Ruth Gotlieb – Kilbirnie Library
Wills: Will you or won’t you?
Wed, 2 April at the Karori Library
Retirement Village Rights: Informed and at ease
Come along, listen to experts discussing the significance of the Consumer Law changes, ask for information about the new Family Carers Policy, as well as, what help and support is available to all of those who might be affected.
If you’re attending, you’re welcome to bring your own ‘brown bag’ lunch to eat while you listen, and there’s no need to book a place in advance.
