The presentation will be focusing on
- Consumer rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act
- New protections when buying online, door to door sales and auctions
- What you need to know about extended warranties
Consumer NZ is an independent, non-profit organisation established in 1959 with the sole aim of getting New Zealand consumers a fairer deal. As part of their work on behalf of all NZ consumers they regularly make submissions to Government and statutory authorities on a wide range of issues affecting consumers.
