Jenny and the team at Johnsonville had a fantastic programme preprared. We all sang ” who are the people in your neighbourhood” an old Sesame street favourite from Jenny’s childhood. Special guest was Michael White from the Human Rights Commssion.
We have had an exciting week at Tawa. On Monday after school 20 children and some adults helped us make Earth People and colour in pictures. Brigid and Subhashni looked stunning in their national costumes.
Check out these great Earth People that were made in our library this week! Our official Earth People event is on Friday after school, but class visits have been making them as well throughout the week, (and the librarians have been making a few as well!).
This morning appoximately 100 people attended Kia Ora Neighbour at Newtown. Children from St Annes, Berhampore school and Te Kaahui te Kohanga Reo got their hands dirty and made awesome Earth People.
