Law for Lunch this Wednesday – transition to care facilities

You are welcome to attend the last Law for Lunch talk for this year focusing on retirement villages, residents’ rights and the law. Law for LunchIt will be presented by Kylie Haw, a lawyer at Carter Chung Law and Sheila Reed, a coordinator at Age Concern. Kylie practices mainly in property law, including commercial and general trust law, and Sheila is a specialist in providing confidential support, advocacy and information for people.

Come along to hear about the latest changes to the law, ask your questions and share your thoughts with us. Some of the key topics will be

  • Residents’ rights and dispute resolution
  • Types of legal titles

The presentation will be held this coming Wednesday, August 31st, from 12 noon to 1pm at the Karori Library, 247 Karori Road. Refreshments will be served.
