Law for Lunch logoWelcome to the first seminar of Law for Lunch!

Our speaker this week will be Nicola Drayton-Glesti, a Community Lawyer with Community Law Wellington and Hutt Valley.

Nicola oversees the disability and ACC portfolios and is working for reform of the new policy for family carers.
Her talk will be focusing on:

  • What support has been historically available for Family Carers
  • Why support for Family Carers needed changing
  • The New Zealand Public Health and Disability Amendment Act 2013
  • Family Carers policy since 1 October 2013

Come along to find out more about problems and possible solutions and, ask your questions.
You are welcome to bring your own ‘brown bag’ lunch and there’s no need to book a seat in advance.

This presentation will take place this Wednesday, from 12 noon to 1pm, on the Ground Floor of the Central Library.  All welcome!
