Local History

Did you know the suburb of Khandallah was named after the old Khandallah Homestead built in 1884?

Are you interested in the local history of the area? At Khandallah Library we have newspaper clippings from local papers, City Life and The Wellingtonian. Library staff select items of interest that include information about schools, local identities, history and amenities.

Storytime

Storytime is every Wednesday morning at Khandallah Library at 10:30am in the children's area. It runs for about half an hour, with stories and songs

Pre-school storytimes are fun and free - there's no charge, and you don't have to book

Storytime is aimed at pre-school age children (three and four years old) - but younger siblings are always welcome!
