Khandallah Pre-school Storytime is held on Tuesday mornings at 10:30am in the children's area.
Preschool Storytime sessions run for about half an hour, with stories and songs. Our Storytimes are fun and free - there is no charge, and you do not have to book. The programme is aimed at pre-school children (3 and 4 years old) - but other children are very welcome. We look forward to seeing you there. For more information please visit the kids page.
Fort Night Storytime
Khandallah children recently enjoyed a special Thursday evening "Fort Night" storytime with storytelling held in a cosy library fort built by the children and parents. We began by reading “The Fort that Jack Built” to get some fort-building ideas, and then we turned the children’s section into one gigantic pillow fort. We had a competition to see who could design the best flag for our new kingdom, and who could come up with the best name for the fort. We finished up with a couple more stories. Thank you so much to everyone who attended. We hope to see you all at our next event (keep an eye on the kids blog and event calendar for future sessions).
